McKinley Hindi is the CEO and founder of Anita. Her expertise spans international business, national politics, and tech. She is a Leader 50 member, and a founding board member of AnnieCannons, a nonprofit transforming survivors of human trafficking into software professionals. Most importantly, McKinley personally experienced harassment in multiple professional environments and understands the complications of the reporting process from both a victim and employer perspective. This experience inspired Anita.
Laura Hackney is the Cofounder and Chief Technical Officer at AnnieCannons, an organization working to transform survivors of gender-based violence and human trafficking into software engineers. Laura is a full-stack software engineer and oversees the technical aspects of Anita. Laura is passionate about the intersections of human rights, technology, and education.
David has been in the business of brand and digital design for over a decade. He’s the principal designer for Hazeltine Company, which he started to get closer to the work, and more importantly the relationships it depends on. He is also a founding member of MAG Collective, a diverse group of talented folks combining forces for social good. He lives in Portland, OR with his wife and two kids.
